BIOGRAPHY:

Harriet is currently working on her own projects as an independent filmmaker. In an eclectic career she has worked as General Manager of the Australian Directors Guild, co-ordinator of Screen NSW's feature film development lab Aurora and as an editing assistant among other roles. In 2012 she returned to study at the International Film School Sydney (later AFFT) to focus on her creative work and learn more about digital production. Her successful graduation film BACKWARDS SHOWGIRL VARIATION, a comedy about pole dancing and older women, set in Sydney’s Inner West is the inspiration for the episodic series ALLEGRA BOX SPLITS. Another recent film SMILE also focuses on teh inner west and documents a vibrant photographic project by Tawfik Elgazzar. Harriet also has  exhibited as a visual artist, worked  as an usherette, in a call centre and has an MA in Creative Writing. Her fifteen minutes of fame came as a baby, in a private jet, heading to the film set of HELP and sitting on John Lennon's knee.
